Please join us as we take a deep dive into the culture of young children drawing from concepts from Emily Plank’s book Discovering the Culture of Childhood. How does young children’s culture differ from that of adults and how does your classroom culture connect in all this?

Tiffany Malicoat has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in Early Care and Education and is an Early Childhood Program Specialist 3 at Edmonds college as well as a Certified Autism Specialist. She comes with over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education across the country. When Tiffany isn’t enjoying time with her husband and two sons (16, 22) she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and teaching Zumba.
