WAEYC administers subsidy training seminars across the state.

This training is REQUIRED of all child care providers who are covered under the State of Washington and Service Employees International Union (SEIU 925) collective bargaining agreement.  All licensed Family Child care providers and In-home/Relative providers who accept child care subsidy payment are included.

Are you a licensed Family Child Care provider who accepts child care subsidy payments? An In-home/Relative provider who takes care of children who receive state subsidy?  If so, these trainings were especially designed for you.

WAEYC is delighted to be working with Department of Early Learning ( DEL ) and Service Employees International Union (SEIU 925) in making this training available to you.  Two of your most valuable resources are your time and your money.  This session will give you the answers and tips that you need to claim your subsidy payments easily and accurately.

Overpayments and underpayments will be a thing of the past!

During the training you will:

·                  Become familiar with the Washington state child care subsidy program

·                  Learn about child care rates and the various services that are covered.

·                  Understand how to correctly bill for services so that the payments you receive are prompt and accurate

·                  Learn about your recordkeeping responsibilities

·                  Learn how to bill four (4) hours of care, per child, at your hourly rate when you complete this training
(for In-home/Relative providers)
